Product Details

Alumina tubes can be used in powder conveying pipelines of coal-fired power plant, dust removal flues, etc. They can withstand high temperatures above 1200°C and are resistant to long-term erosion of ash particles. Their service life can reach 8-12 years (more than 5 times that of traditional steel pipes), which can significantly reduce the frequency of maintenance.

Alumina tubes can be used in tailings conveying pipelines, ore dressing cyclones, etc. Alumina tubes can resist high-speed erosion of high-concentration slurries and are resistant to acid and alkali corrosion. Their service life can reach more than 10 years, which can help reduce the operating costs of mines.

Alumina tubes can be used in conveying pipelines for strong acid/alkali media (such as sulfuric acid, caustic soda), reactor liners, etc. Alumina tubes are chemically inert (resistant to pH 2-14) and highly airtight (can prevent leakage risks). Their service life can reach 5-8 years, and can replace those easily corroded materials such as rubber linings and stainless steel pipes.

Alumina tubes can be used in blast furnace coal injection pipes, molten steel drainage troughs, and molten metal conveying systems. Alumina tubes can withstand high temperatures of 1600°C and are resistant to the erosion by molten metals (such as molten steel and aluminum liquid). Their service life can reach 3-5 years. Compared with metal pipes, they can significantly help avoid thermal deformation problems.

ADVANTAGES OF ALUMINA:

Alumina has a Rockwell hardness of HRA 80-90 (second only to some superhard materials such as diamond) and a compressive strength of 300MPa, which can resist long-term erosion of granular materials. Its service life is more than 10 times that of ordinary steel.

Alumina is suitable for high-speed transportation applications such as coal powder, slag, and cement, with a wear rate of less than 0.02cm³/1.61km.

Alumina’s long-term working temperature is 1200℃-1600℃ and has an instantaneous temperature resistance of 1800℃, which is suitable for power plant boiler flues and the transportation of metallurgical high-temperature gases.

Alumina is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion (except hydrofluoric acid and concentrated sulfuric acid), and performs well in chemical and salt spray environments.

The density of alumina is only 1/3 of that of steel, which can reduce the load on the pipeline system. It can maintain a high electrical resistivity of 10¹²-10¹³Ω·cm at high temperatures, which can avoid risks of static electricity.
