Aluminum titanate is a new ceramic material integrating low thermal expansion coefficient and high melting point. It has high melting point (1860℃±10℃) and low thermal expansion coefficient, good thermal shock resistance. In addition, it has the characteristics of non-wetting with many molten metals and glass, especially for non-ferrous metals. Therefore, aluminum titanate ceramics can be widely used in harsh environments, such as high temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
Aluminum titanate ceramic dosing tube is a key part of dosing furnace. Aluminum titanate is non-stick to aluminum, good insulation and no pollution to molten metal, making it the best choice for non-ferrous metal melting applications. Aluminum titanate’s versatility makes it possible to produce a number of different pipe shapes with a variety of diameters and lengths.
